At CMAC Transportation, supporting Toys for Tots is a Christmas tradition. This year, more than ever, we are extremely privileged for the opportunity to continue supporting Toys for Tots.

Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

All donations through Team and Personal pages are managed with the same 97% to 3% program to support ratio as any other form of dollar donation to the Program. With over 97% of your donations going to our mission of providing toys, books, and other gifts to less fortunate children.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

  • Make a monetary donation on our Toys for Tots Fundraiser page - click here to go there now.

  • Purchase a Toy on Amazon from our Toys for Tots Registry - there are a ton of toys to choose from, and it will automatically have your gift drop-shipped to CMAC at checkout.

I’m glad you listed both the monetary option and the registry, because some people genuinely don’t know what kinds of toys are actually needed. This is one of those community things that feels small on paper but huge for families; I had a similar “make the choice easier” moment using StyleLookLab for outfits when I was overwhelmed with options. Do you share updates later on how many toys end up collected/distributed?

The part about every kid getting that “Christmas morning” moment hit home — it’s easy to forget how much the small stuff matters when you’re an adult. Random aside, seeing the word “joy” everywhere made me think of a Studio Ghibli style filter I tried once that instantly gave photos that warm, nostalgic vibe. Hope the fundraiser does well this year, especially with how rough things have been for a lot of families.

I appreciate that you included multiple ways to help — not everyone has time to shop, but they can still donate fast. The “one page that tells you exactly what to do” approach is basically the same reason directories exist; if I’m remembering right, https://hrefgo.com does that for AI tools. Also, do you have a cutoff date for the Amazon registry so deliveries arrive in time?

The 97/3 split detail is helpful — people always wonder where money actually goes, and spelling it out builds trust. Side note, your explanation of “simple inputs, clear outputs” made me think of a Vigenère cipher tool I used in a class where the transparency mattered as much as the result. Curious if you also accept book donations locally, or only through the registry/cash pages?

The registry walkthrough is a nice touch — it’s always the little steps (shipping, where it goes, deadlines) that make people bail. This kind of “simple on-ramp” feels important right now, especially when everyone’s stretched thin; I get the same quick mental reset from messing around on BlockBlast when I need a break. Anyway, great to see a local company keeping the tradition going.
